@soul man It's a tremendous Epistle; Hebrews shows the superiority ("better" a keyword) and perfection of the Lord Jesus Christ in all His offices and work, in comparison with anything that was in the Old Testament or that ever could be.

@soul man Hebrews is a mighty Epistle indeed; and the exalted position of the believer's Great High priest is wondrous in its implications...

John's First Epistle indicates that 'many antichrists' are already come into the world... The believer needs to keep 'looking unto Jesus' (Hebrews 12.2).

@Heart2Soul Yes, it gets increasingly difficult to read into the Middle East the culture of Midwestern/Southern baptist churches, although some keen Fundamentalists do try...

PS: @Heart2Soul I talked to a young man this week with a Bible verse tattooed on his arm; he thanked me for the encouragement. (The video posted a couple of posts above shows that it need only cost $10 to start one's tattoo journey if the person is eventually thinking about using ink to witness...

@Heart2Soul Abstinence or moderation are excellent, but sometimes Fundamentalists do tie themselves into knots to try to "prove" that it wasn't into wine that the Lord at Cana turned the water.
