    The Restrainer. And the Restrained.

@VictoryinJesus I think it can be good to remember that in the context of the rapture of the church and the subsequent Great Tribulation, the removal of the restraining influence of the Holy Spirit makes sense in the scheme of things. (If, of course, the church and Israel are not considered...

@VictoryinJesus So would you find it helpful to vape, if it helped you cut down? (I'm not moralizing; just being practical...)

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@Truman the Levite Thanks for the 'likes'. I wouldn't go as far as to say that Christians or anyone else ought to get tattoos; but for those motivated to have witness-friendly faith based designs done it's of course very straightforward to get started; the video shows just how simple it is.

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@Truman the Levite Did you see the video in the above post which shows that (if the person is interested in using ink as a witness tool) it only costs $10 to start on one's tattoo journey. Earlier this week I talked to a young man with a Bible text tattooed on his arm; he thanked me for...

Strongly. John's First Epistle says a lot about the believer's assurance; great to read; 5 chapters. Also: Romans 8; excellent reading.

    General Discussions For Non Christians

The short answer is that I honestly believe I am cleansed through faith; I honestly believe what these verses say: "Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the...

It's by grace that I am saved; cleansed. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast."

    Living with a ‘ new son ‘……

How wonderful, Rita! I'm sure you can keep praying that he will "grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3.18).

    General Discussions For Non Christians

Another way of putting it is to desire to glorify God; the redeemed heart, through faith in Christ and His work at the Cross for sinner, has a melody in his or her heart. "Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord"...

No wonder Paul says: 'Pray without ceasing'...(1 Thess. 5.17).
