Christians proclaiming their love of Jesus on social media is self-serving

Hmmm. Seems like it is. How is it not?

    New here.

Welcome. Would you mind telling us about your journey with Christ?

What are the main doctrinal differences between Jehovah's Witnesses and mainstream Christianity?

It's not on you at all? You weren't here for 109? You asked. I answered. You gave me grief for not answering. Who is it on if not you? Take responsibility dude! It's all on you! A simple apology for missing my original reply to you is all it'd take.

Is it a sin for a person suffering from extreme, uncontrollable, pain to kill themselves?

Neither do I. Specific verses on point are hard to find. Implied in verses where a military leader was in peril, he killed himself rather than be brutalized by the enemy. I can search for the verse if you think it’d help.

Is the story of Noah literal?

I'm going to the Life-size Noah’s Ark in a couple of weeks. I'll let you know.

    What is the Bible about?

I prefer to write succinct posts. It is impossible to write an adequate succinct post about any epic story, let alone one involving 66 books. In short, the Bible is the story of God, the Fall of Man, and God's plan for our redemption.

What are the main doctrinal differences between Jehovah's Witnesses and mainstream Christianity?

No. It doesn't. If it did, you would be able to actually provide a verse that states what you claim. Who teaches what you claim are those who engage in exegesis.

What are the main doctrinal differences between Jehovah's Witnesses and mainstream Christianity?

Not true. I originally answered it is post #109. When I woke this morning I had the 'sweeping evidence off the table' tact on my mind. So, I answered it again. If you don't want to admit your question was in response to my posting 7 verses supporing the alternative hypothesis, that's on you.

    Nothing much left to say

There you go! Leave the battlefield of ideas with one final personal attack. Admit no advance despite not being able to answer the most basic questions, like: The purpose of your life? If you follow the science, why can't you admit DNA proves an Intelligent Designer (like the Bible said)? Why...

Christians proclaiming their love of Jesus on social media is self-serving

The difference is we Christians do not tell people of Jesus to boast of ourselves. We believe all glory to God.

    Nothing much left to say

Well, if you don't care if you live or die, why should your Creator?

    Nothing much left to say

A great question with a very comforting answer.

What are the main doctrinal differences between Jehovah's Witnesses and mainstream Christianity?

Yes. My statement stands. @Aunty Jane's post #115 does a good job detailing the illogical claim you make. Again, there is no verse that even claims Jesus is God. It's a simple statement and it is not made because of a very good reason; that is not what the Biblical authors thought. Regarding...

What are the main doctrinal differences between Jehovah's Witnesses and mainstream Christianity?

Typical trinitarian debate tactic. I provide 7 verses supporting a conclusion. You sweep them all off the table of discussion and prop up only your own verse for consideration. If you only look at evidence in support of a proposition, you'll never consider the strength of the argument AGAINST...

What are the main doctrinal differences between Jehovah's Witnesses and mainstream Christianity?

Well, there are 2 questions here. Whose throne is it? God's. Who is sitting on God's throne? Another Being, aka, his son. This is analogous to you driving my car. Even if you drive my car for a long time, it remains my car. Rather than rely on this backdoor logic, there is abundant explicit...

What are the main doctrinal differences between Jehovah's Witnesses and mainstream Christianity?

There is no such verse that calls Jesus this, which explains why you did not provide a NT citation.

    Nothing much left to say

Attacking me will not change your destiny. The choice is A. life through obedience to God; or B. Death. Your insolent supposition there is any other choice defaults your answer to B. So, be it.

Christianity requires fear, guilt, and conformity

LOL. Dude - you are the one with a God complex. Your ego is so big, you presume to be in the judgement seat over your own Creator.

Christianity requires fear, guilt, and conformity

Wrong. You are so twisted you confuse light for dark. So indoctrinated are you with cultural Marxism hatred of dividing people you cannot untwist your thinking to see and hear straight.

    Nothing much left to say

No. Just pointing out the same point can be said in different ways. You have made it clear repeatedly that you choose death. So be it.
