Men, would you have problems being with someone who looks like a Mennonite?

Nope....what would bother me though is the insistence of drawing attention to oneself by clothing worn irrespective of what the justification was.

i dont know when i got saved.

Hello Kobo I know you mean well.....please consider this story:- An Evangelist decided to hold a tent meeting in a certain City on a certain day at 8pm sharp. It was advertised far and wide and a large crowd was expected. Everything was prepared; tent erected, many seats all in their neat rows...

The book the bible is for the purpose of educating us re God's character. It is not for the purpose of using it to support a 'scene' where its members quote left and right and feel justified in their pride of being able to do so. Satan can quote better than any. Do you not understand that...

    Why Can't Women Become Priests?

They'd have to change the name to Priestess which is a too hard a thing to do....why?.....beats me. There doesn't seem to be any difficulty changing the Commandments of God for the commandments of men.

    Art, Beauty and Christianity

It's designed to captivate the senses which for the most part people allow themselves to be guided, however, it is no substitute for God's Word.

I'll add this; Nebucadnezzer after he came to his senses gives an account of his experience and praises the God of Heaven in Daniel 4:34-37. Something happened in this mans mind to shift his view. I would not be surprised if we see him in the Kingdom.

People who lived prior to the incarnation, both Jews and Gentiles did not understand, or at least very few had an inkling of how God was going to vindicate himself and in the process make Salvation possible for all peoples. Nevertheless, God tried to break through to them....to the Hebrews he...

God's Salvation has been in place before the foundation of the world the scripture tells us. The unfolding of this in our timeline does not mean that before its unfolding it was not in place. It also means that those before Jesus' incarnation are saved by the same generosity as we have a small...

I think you underestimate God's love for humanity. Many have come and gone in the cultures around the world since Jesus walked our dusty streets that have never heard of the salvation God has provided....the which we are privileged to understand. God has not abandoned them as might be supposed...

No, I do not hold to your interpretation of the scriptures.....and why would you think that I reject what the scripture says? Incidentally, I'm planning on seeing Noah and Abraham along with all those described in Hebrews 11 and those who enquired earnestly for the salvation of which they wrote...

The primary problem with your point of view is the idea that one is saved by subscribing to a certain theology....ie, one must believe a certain thing cognitively for God's salvation to be effective. It highlights a view of God that is tight opposed to generous....it highlights the self...

    Methodism, Sanctification, and Dangerous Doctrine

My prayer as concerning those who fight against me on these boards.

I would say impossible for the unregenerate man but for the man who claims Jesus as his Saviour while justifying his sin can speak of grace till the cows come home and all it is is a clanging bell and a tinkling cymbal.
