Hi @Mayflower, that's a great set of references there! Ephesians 6 on the whole armor of God is a powerful passage indeed! There was a book by The Christian in Complete Armour by a 17th century writer whose name I can't remember.

@FluffyYellowDuck Going confidently to the parlor, or not going, to get inked up is and should be entirely a wholehearted, responsible adult decision (as is a piercing, for that matter), which can also be looked at from various angles (hence the possibility of multiple poll responses, above)...

@Mayflower Thanks for your poll vote participation. It is to be frankly anticipated that among the posters on this forum there would be a very wide range of views, from "Oh, no, NO! don't do it!" to "Ohhh this is reeeally gooood for me to do as a Christian!" It seemed like a worthwhile poll...

All the people who have died in my city, and all the people vulnerable in my city are part of the immediate evidence for my inclination at the very least not to dissuade people from taking the vaccine. How you live with your conscience is your business, friend.

@Mayflower Sorry to ask this direct question; I hope it's constructive: If you neighbour's child died of a disease after you had persuaded her not to vaccinate her child from that disease, would not she subsequently think that maybe your conscience should have been impressionable from wider...

Look, friend; many, many ppl are dying of it. I would not be able to look the families in their faces of people who I had advised not to be vaccinated if they had subsequently not been vaccinated on my advice and had then died of the disease. We all in the end have to come to terms with facing...

@Faithsong Epehsians 1 and other passages also speaks of God having raised the Lord Jesus from the dead, which makes all the difference, though faith in Him, for eternity.
