I read Josephus, and I have read the hitorical record of WW1 and WW2. 70 AD is bad, but not close to WW1 and WW2

Inconsistency of teaching faith without works

I thought we were discussing. Not fighting..

Inconsistency of teaching faith without works

so if I read you I should agree with you? Probably a good choice to do what you said. Because even if I did agree with you. That is not the way to have a discussion. and why sadly most people will be stuck on a false belief for a lifetime, if their belief is wrong, because they think they are...

Inconsistency of teaching faith without works

its not faith at all. we are saved by grace THROUGH faith. if we have no faith. we are not saved. period Paul faught that fact also. He said we are not saved by work. but those who are saved are created for works.. If the works paul said a believer of true living faith are not present. then...

Inconsistency of teaching faith without works

What did he do to give us the chance to apply this to us? Just his good deed? what did he do? And how is that applied to us? Sorry, But I disagree James never claimed they had faith He said, what does it prophet brethren if they CLAIM to have faith. but has no works.. when we remove the...

    70 AD revisited

which is exactly what your doing Stop being a hypocrite when the same argument can be used against you If you have no facts. or do not want to discuss just say so. I will leave you alone. because right now. you are not offering me anything but your silly sidestepping the issue.. and...

    70 AD revisited

70 ad was not a war. Judah was under roman rule. they were slaves, prisoners of rome. Rome just leveled their city and destroyed their temple.. and finished scattering Israel as Jesus said would happen. Please learn what a war is..

Inconsistency of teaching faith without works

it does not appear you know what grace or works mean..

Inconsistency of teaching faith without works

It can't be both Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work. Romans 4:4 Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. grace is freely...

Inconsistency of teaching faith without works

Not by works of righteosuness which we have done, but by his mercy he saved us If your faith is in your works, its not in God.. No works means no work period.. You can;t save yourself. No, They claimed faith plus works. Like you are doing Your right Paul is not fighting James. nor is James...

    70 AD revisited

I don't need examples of this.. Your just trying to put the truth on hold while you look for reasons to ignore it. thats on you my friend. Not me..

    70 AD revisited

let see “Seventy [e]weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression, Not yet completed. Israel is still in sin and have still rejected her messiah They are still in transgression [f]To make an end of sins, Not yet completed. israel is still in sin and...

    70 AD revisited

No, thats your problem And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. This is the event! The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined. This is saying the city and temple will be left desolate until the...
  16. Eternally Grateful

‘Saved by grace’ is probably the biggest Christian nonsense

That's not how the gospel works. Paul said all have sinned and fall short of Gods glory (rom 3: 23) Unless you repent of this fact. and confess you are not good enough. you will never come to faith in Christ. because you have not become bankrupt. You will still think there is some good in you...

Is Obedience a Condition of Salvation?

I am not sure people who really think obedience is required understand that we have already failed to achieve salvation through obedience because we have already failed to meet Gods standard. because as Paul said. we have all sinned and fall short. Not only this, But we still do not meet Gods...

    70 AD revisited

Yes I have read it And I have studied history of all the wars since then. and I can tell you 70 AD was a picnic compared to WW1 and WW2 and these will be picnics compared to the great tribulation. When God says it. I trust God.. so I believe it. whether I see it or not.

    70 AD revisited

Actually I already shows all of you by breaking down the passage (post 59) non of you have responded to what I said. you keep just acting as if I ignore it One thing we can know. have those things in vs 24 occured yet? No! so the 70 weeks either have not been completed. Or the angel Gabriel lied.

    70 AD revisited

once again, the tribulation occurs AFTER the destruction of the city. we know this,. because the abomination of desolation happens in the middle of the 70th week. long after the city was destroyed which did not occur until almost 40 years after the messiah was cut off. after the 69th week.
