  7. Eternally Grateful

How do you reconcile "the gates of Hell will NOT prevail" with Satan supposedly taking most of mankind to Hell with him?

A gate is a defensive weapon. To say the gates of hell will not prevail is to say these gates will not prevent Gods church from going into satans territory and rescuing people inside the gates.

  11. Eternally Grateful

    70 AD revisited

Yes. But that is not what Daniel 9 SHows. It shows a gap.. If the things have not occured yet. then we can not just explain them away as having happened. Like your using the catholic anti semetic system? Come on, your not going to get anywhere with this line of reasoning. Talk about my...
  12. Eternally Grateful

    70 AD revisited

No, You reffered to the early church. You did not mention the new testament.. or else I would have assumed paul. WHenn most people mention the early church as examples. they usually refer to the early church AFTER the NT writers

Inconsistency of teaching faith without works

God wrote the bible. the greek word justified is actually the same word that means righteous.. It is again a legal term. now your three examples do not fot. one contradicts the others. 1. Justified freely, it means there is no cost. The cost is redemption which was paid by the blood of Christ...

I follow the word of God. I do not follow men.. test each spirit to see if they are from God or not. You have not given me any reason to change my view.. but feel free to show me in the word where I am wrong.

  19. Eternally Grateful

    70 AD revisited

Dan 9: Then he shall confirm a [k]covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.”...

Inconsistency of teaching faith without works

Justification is a legal term, it means to be acquited or found innocent. or be found righteous. Paul in romans 4 says we are justified by faith not works. James is speaking about something else. His audience are people who CLAIM to have faith. but have zero works. he asked can that FAITh save...
