@FluffyYellowDuck Thanks! Even the King James of 1611 did not have the same spelling of the version referred to sometimes today as the "1611 King James"; its spelling was not actually standardized until 1769.

@FluffyYellowDuck Thanks! I've seen a facsimile copy of the Geneva, but it's not my copy. Yale did an edition of Tyndale's New Testament some years back, which preceded the Geneva Bible.

@FluffyYellowDuck To get a sense of the eternal purposes of God grasped by the church, I think Ephesians read in conjunction with the letter to Ephesus is Revelation makes for a good exercise.

@soul man It goes to show that Paul, after his conversion, truly gloried in the Gospel of the grace of God and in the Person and work of the Lord Jesus, and NOT in the flesh or in his religious works. It is all so searching.
