No more church gatherings by order of the government.

When between 15 million and 50 million people died after WW1 from 'flu, the discrepancy of the figures relates to the fact that some ppl had a probably combination of heart, respiratory and 'flu symptoms. I see no conspiracy of the government there. Perhaps indeed less people would have died...

No more church gatherings by order of the government.

I know of ppl that have died as a result of the virus. I know ppl who did not take the distancing advice - in a church a long way from where I live - and many of them fell ill immediately. So it's part of being responsible for leaders to take note of the hazards and protect the vulnerable.

    Worship Songs

@TLHKAJ You mentioned the raging of the storm which the Lord Jesus stilled. Psalm 46 also mentions the raging of the storm, and the contrasting peace that the Lord brings.

    Worship Songs

@TLHKAJ Reminds me of Psalm 46.10: "Be still, and know that I am God".

No more church gatherings by order of the government.

What I would ask is, Would challenging the temporary measure in court make the virus go away?

Oh You've Got to Be Kidding Me!!

This is what the article actually says: "Within households, face masks should be used when a member of the household is infected or has had recent potential Covid-19 exposure."

@Pearl Yes, it's a wonder what simple things like appreciating nice nails, etc. can do to interpersonal relations...

Come out of Babylon, what does that mean?

New Testament corollaries are sanctification and separation. :)

    "In Christ" = Never ends.

"He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ". :)

    Must You Be Born Again?

@Pearl Indeed so; exactly my own convictions also.

    "In Christ" = Never ends.

@Pearl Hebrews 12.2 also indeed exhorts: "looking unto Jesus"...

    Must You Be Born Again?

I don't believe in baptismal regeneration. In Acts 2.41, ppl were baptised because they were believers; they were not baptised supposedly to become believers.

Until Christ Be Revealed In You

Conversion is indeed a miracle of the grace of God, wrought by the Spirit of Christ.
