Every believer who is born again - one and the same thing - is indwelt by the Spirit : Romans 8 indeed says, 'If any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His'. The Holy Spirit strengthens and keeps every believer, bringing the power of God in preservation and in fulfilling the...

    Those who deny Eternal Security

I don't accept that he ever had salvation. What he had was outward and apparent, not inward and rooted in eternity and the work of the Holy Spirit. Personal comments such as you made won't change anything.

If one finds themselves like Paul in Romans 7......

@CharismaticLady I do strongly believe in the new birth (John 3) and the coming to indwell of the Holy Spirit is the great significance of Pentecost, Acts 2.

    Those who deny Eternal Security

I am drawing your attention to how I see the person's original lack of true life is expressed. Whether or not you accept this, is not my responsibility. Please specify what you say you require of me.

Merits relates to grace. If it's not all of grace, it's not at all.

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@Naomi25 In summary, so I guess you certainly didn't try to dissuade her, and were even quietly glad to give her what you call a little nudge to help her on her way to achieve the desired nose stud. Ezekiel 16.12 comes to mind, in a passage seemingly about figurative representations of imputed...
