The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

You do know that when we confess our sin and He cleanses us from all unrighteousness it is because to make us completely clean, He creates another nature in us. This is called being born again. This new nature separates us from the old nature called "the flesh." Now we have two natures, but as...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

No, my friend. Jesus does more than covers. "Covers" means the sins are still there, merely covered. This was what was happening in the Old Testament sacrifices where the blood of bulls and goats covered the sins for only a year as in Romans 4:7-8, a quote from the Psalms, until the next Day of...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Yes. I hadn't read it, but now that I have I think what I just posted #340, might answer it. Once you've studied it, is there anything I didn't address?

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Okay, now add verse 6. God is light (5), so if we SAY that we have God who is light, but walk in darkness, do we really have God? Bf, I'm trying to help you see that John is making a contrast here. Verse 9 is the key to walking in the light. The person in verse 6 has never repented. And all of...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

No, I'm not. God has shown me how to understand some of the key words that bring enlightenment, and writing styles that show what are parallels, and what are contrasts. When you know these things from a passion to want to know what God means by what He says, you won't be confused either. Lets...

3 gifts Superseded By THREE Gifts!

That's for sure seeing as I never had those gifts for 23 years as a Cessationist. Only when I was born again and filled with His Spirit did I receive them, and I can't deny them anymore. And for those carnal thinkers, no, it wasn't Satan I was filled with. Because my life as a Cessationist was...

3 gifts Superseded By THREE Gifts!

Grace, chapter 13 also says WHEN these will pass away, and that is when we see Him FACE TO FACE. The second coming. If the perfect were the Bible, then what do you do with all the verses pertaining to the laws regarding the gifts? Just cut them out of that which is already perfect? To hold up...

Do You Believe In The Paranormal?

Interesting that Saul consulted the dead, committing a sin unto death, and the next day he was dead.

Do You Believe In The Paranormal?

I used to think that all ghosts were familiar spirits - demons, and I still do for the most part. I know without doubt that those people who died in a righteous state are in heaven and absolutely cannot be tied to this earth. But those who were not, I sometimes wonder about. If anyone was taught...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

verse 9 is about the apostles. Later He prays for those who believe their word: verse 20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word. Whenever you see the words "given me" it is regarding the Father predestining the apostles. Calvinists apply...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

"2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world." "16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world...

    Methodism, Sanctification, and Dangerous Doctrine

I love John Wesley and I love being Spirit-filled. I was reading a book on the life of John Wesley and I also love his mother. She lead him in his beliefs.

    Methodism, Sanctification, and Dangerous Doctrine

Is there a Pentecostal definition of sanctification? How does it affect sin? What is being born again, and how does it affect sin.

    Methodism, Sanctification, and Dangerous Doctrine

The little Spirit-filled UMC that I sometimes attend, is very upset with the denomination, and would love to leave it. They were going to have a universal meeting of all UMC churches last April, but the pandemic hit first.

    Methodism, Sanctification, and Dangerous Doctrine

What you referred to as dangerous, the OP is stating the opposite. I think you misread it.

Is Jesus, God the Father's representation? Is He His Avatar?

Interesting. I had to google what a definition of an avatar was. What avatar means? the descent of a deity to the earth in an incarnate form or some manifest shape; the incarnation of a god. an embodiment or personification, as of a principle, attitude, or view of life. Jesus came to allow us...

    When were the seals opened?

I just counted up the prophets of the Old Testament and believe it is either 24 or 25 though I think I missed some, like Elijah and Elisha. I was just quickly going by the names of the books of the Old Testament. I'll recount sometime.

    When were the seals opened?

Anybody know who the 24 elders might be, and if there are any other references scripturally?

    When were the seals opened?

I believe Jesus was answering about the end of the age, and the Antichrist. John also talks of many antichrist, but also one specific.

    When were the seals opened?

They had to be from Abraham's Bosom, all the Old Testament saints. I believe they went to heaven with Jesus when He ascended.
