@ilovejcsog John's First Epistle has a lot about assurance of faith. For the believer, Romans 8 also is very assuring; as is Hebrews.

At Pentecost, the birthday of the church, the Holy Spirit came to dwell (Acts 2); the new birth (John 3) is very much a New Testament truth.
