A great prayer, indeed: "O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy."

The Persons are distinct. One needs to recognize Hebraisms.

I do love the KJV and use it. Where is says 'the faith of Christ', it may actually be objective genitive, meaning = faith in Christ.

In the original the phrase is 'father of eternity', referring to the Son's eternal character, as in (Hebrews 1) 'Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever'.

@VictoryinJesus Shows that it's really the new birth (John 3) that counts and not human works - such as they are - before Him....

I guess I would understand 'enjoy Him' as in joy / rejoice, as in Philippians...

@VictoryinJesus I think the sense can include, When not expected.... This would tie in with the context of dulled spiritual senses and unbelief.
