I have to say that all these threads setting out supposedly to disprove the very central Biblical truth of God in Three Persons are doomed from the start to bring about a disagreeing response from all those who indeed follow the Scriptures. End of story.

As I see it, either one is resting by faith on "It is finished" (John 19.30), or one is not. Hebrews chapters 9 and 10 expand on this.

Luke 1.35: "And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God."

The word trinity is not in the Bible, but what the work trinity refers to - God in Three Persons - most certainly is in the Bible: the Bible is indeed full of it.

@VictoryinJesus More broadly, 1 Corinthians 15 is such an encouraging chapter, leading to the victory and the steadfastness of verses 57 and 58.

The virgin birth is Scriptural. God in Three Persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - is Scriptural. Best to accept them and not over-rationalize.

@EarlyMarksman You got a Bible ref.; nurses do it big time and use them as ice breakers. They do work. Perhaps your mom and dad understand a bit better now why you did it?
