Hi @Blood Bought 1953 Re. the law, what is striking from Hebrews 7 is that in verse 12 it says the law was changed and in verse 19 what we now have is better than the law.

@K9Buck I think it's good to remember that if anyone is converted, it is because, as with Lydia in Acts 16, 'whose heart the Lord opened'. The Lord does indeed use instruments in blessing, although it's not merely about winning arguments.

All good things. Dispensationally the answer is that the Gospel rather than the law - as the Reformed constituency might claim - is the rule of the believer's life. Otherwise, passages such as Romans 14 would mean little, IMHO.

We are evidently unable to communicate on this aspect of clear revelation in Scripture. Period.
