    Why Matthew 5:29-30?

Both of your thoughts are accurate. Galatians 5:19-21 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders...

    intentional sins?

Let's start with this one. This is not a Christian but a Jew under the law, trying to keep the law with his carnal nature. He is not born again. When we come to Christ, as we see in the next chapter, the Spirit frees us from sin and death in his nature. Romans 8:2, but read Romans 8:1-9 Okay...

    intentional sins?

Grace is the power of God. The power of God sustained Paul, and lead him to write. cc: @justbyfaith just got up, going to have my tea. :)

    intentional sins?

Weren't you the one that showed me this verse I had been searching for? Philippians 3:15-16 15 Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you. 16 Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us...

    intentional sins?

Yes, I agree, but a child of God does not do works of the flesh either, for those who fulfill the lusts of the flesh shall not inherit the Kingdom of God. The reason is because of grace - the power of God in us.

    intentional sins?

Do you believe Jesus was full of unmerited favor and truth? Or full of the power of God and truth?
  7. CharismaticLady

    intentional sins?

I know the truth, but you aren't giving me your references to show you.

    intentional sins?

I know them, I just wanted you to give them so I could teach you something you are not seeing. But we can end it here if you like.

    intentional sins?

We are only accountable for sin we know about before doing them.

    intentional sins?

Give the scriptural references to your claims about Paul.

    intentional sins?

Read the sins of the flesh, vs. 19-21. I DON'T WANT to do any of those. If you do, then do you really have the Holy Spirit? As I said, you are understanding it cock-eyed! Good night.

    intentional sins?

Yes, that's what I thought you meant, and I disagree. Only those with the old nature ruling them would have the desire, but they are not born again, and do not have the Spirit. Those who have the Spirit are not in the old nature, thus do not desire what the old nature would have wanted.

    intentional sins?

We may be saying the same thing if you are actually saying that those who are walking in the Spirit do not sin because they don't want to.

    intentional sins?

We have already gone over this and I've already told you 1 John 3:9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. (Why? Because their new nature doesn't WANT TO.) Someone without the Spirit of God cannot do...

    intentional sins?

Randy, where are you getting this? Romans 7? Don't you know that with the new nature is a lack of struggle. You naturally do what your new nature wants to do. The struggle was in the Romans 7 law of sin and death. Romans 8:2 says, but the law of the Spirit of life in Christ, has freed me from...

    intentional sins?

The seven churches are a three-fold prophecy. The specific local church in the town of 2000 years ago Individuals of the types specified in the letter throughout the ages A church age of a specific time frame.

    intentional sins?

Yes, all martyrs, but even those today and not just during the church age of Smyrna. They will reign with Christ during the Millennium.

    Who are you ?

Are you referring this verse for present indwelling sin which a dead body doesn't have, Romans 8: 9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. 10 And if Christ is in you, the body is...

    intentional sins?

Now that can be misunderstood. I'll have to ask you to clarify to see if we actually are on the same page as I thought. You are either saying: We still sin, but the atoning blood of Jesus covers our sin so the Father can't see it. or: We have been given the power of God to not have any...
