    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

LOL. This thread is about refuting pretrib which we have done extensively. We will not be leaving the thread that we created. LOL!

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

This is utter nonsense. Jesus specifically pointed out that the flood "destroyed them all". It killed all unbelievers. And Jesus said it would be like that when He comes (Matt 24:39). So, do you have all unbelievers being killed when He comes just as happened with the flood?

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

Douggg, you are very deceptive and dishonest with your handling of scripture. That is a fact. Such as the way you try to create your own definition of the word "generation" to make Matthew 24:34 say what you want it to say. And, in this example that you're responding to you, you dishonestly...

There are 2 tribulation periods, the “first” is to the Jews

It says the Messiah would be cut off after the end of the 69th week. That places His death within the 70th week during which He confirmed the new covenant by way of His ministry, His death, which made the old covenant sacrifices and offerings obsolete, His resurrection and the preaching of His...

    THE KING/DOM IS COMING

While I wait for you to actually specifically address what I said in post #4, please tell me your understanding of Matthew 25:31-46. You agree that it's talking about something that will occur just after Jesus comes with His angels, I assume? And you agree that it shows both saved and lost...

    THE KING/DOM IS COMING

Address my points first and then I will address yours. How many times have I had to tell you this? I'm not interested in being the only one who addresses the other's points.
  7. Spiritual Israelite

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

I agree! As I have told you several times before already. But, where we differ, if you recall (do you ever remember anything we talk about?), is in our understanding of the length of the day of the Lord. We agree that it arrives after the sixth seal is opened, so we don't have to waste time...

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

LOL. Stop being ignorant. It's exactly the opposite of that. To exegete scripture is to take the time to actually show exactly how you are interpreting the text without just quoting some scripture and saying what you think it means, like you do, while doing nothing to explain how you are...
  9. Spiritual Israelite

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

He's making multiple points. Just address one at a time if you want. He doesn't come more than once. That is simply not taught in scripture anywhere and you certainly haven't come anywhere near proving such a thing. Scripture says He will "appear the second time without sin unto salvation"...

    THE KING/DOM IS COMING

This is a very weak argument. Matthew 25:31-46 is about the day of judgment that will occur when He comes with His angels. He has not yet sat upon the throne of His glory to judge. What other scripture calls "the judgment seat of Christ" (Romans 14:10-12, 2 Cor 5:10). This does not mean that He...
  11. Spiritual Israelite

    The absurdity of Pretrib logic

How about you address what he said in post #2447? You don't have to address all of it, but maybe 2 or 3 of his points, at least.

But shun profane and vain babblings

LOL. A typical response of someone who denies that spiritual discernment is required to understand scripture despite Paul saying exactly that in 1 Corinthians 2:9-16. Do you deny that the Lord created time and exists outside of it? Do you understand that if time affects Him, but just in a...
  13. Spiritual Israelite

But shun profane and vain babblings

You posted "lol x 100000" or something similar in response to something I said that was very reasonable whether you agree with it or not. Stewardofthemystery does. Since you are a Premil like him then maybe you can try to encourage him to stop that kind of evil behavior, but he won't listen to...
  14. Spiritual Israelite

But shun profane and vain babblings

You continue to take scripture out of context. That verse relates directly to the verse that follows it. 2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his...
  15. Spiritual Israelite

But shun profane and vain babblings

I don't know what you're talking about and don't know what relevance this has to anything related to end times doctrine.
  16. Spiritual Israelite

But shun profane and vain babblings

They don't kill anyone. It's all symbolic. Do you actually think it's talking about literal fire coming out of their mouths? LOL.
  17. Spiritual Israelite

But shun profane and vain babblings

I said more than once, if you would actually read, that it's all symbolic of the church preaching the gospel and that the two witnesses don't actually kill anyone. The rejection of the gospel results in condemnation to the lake of fire and that's what the fire coming out of their mouths...
  18. Spiritual Israelite

But shun profane and vain babblings

Yes, he did that not long ago in another thread. Makes you wonder what other scripture he disregards besides Paul's end times teachings. He also believes that the two witnesses will end up in the lake of fire as punishment for killing people. He has a lot of wacky ideas.
  19. Spiritual Israelite

But shun profane and vain babblings

Says the guy who believes the two witnesses will end up in the lake of fire. LOL. Don't try to equate your gibberish with the teachings of Hosea, Jesus, Peter and John. That is a big joke.
