Jesus didn't take away our sin, only our punishment

I have that person on ignore. And if you don't grow up and become civil, you will be too.

Jesus didn't take away our sin, only our punishment

No, and I went to the bottom to see if there were Ignored content, and there wasn't at the time. Now there is, but I just noticed it, but he wasn't it either. You do love to hunt for things to try to accuse me of. That is what I meant earlier that you were not of the right spirit. Are you not...

Fraud? For what? Quoting scripture plainly that is completely the opposite of Reformed? If there is any fraud going on, it was 500 years ago. And unfortunately you bought into it.

Jesus didn't take away our sin, only our punishment

I did, but it wasn't to anyone. As for the title, I should have put quote marks on it. I just didn't think of it. The passage would have pointed out that the title was a false teaching.

Jesus didn't take away our sin, only our punishment

That is only true if the proof is in the pudding. We can't say we are free from sin, and keep on sinning. That is a belief from the Reformation and Gnostics of the first century that Peter was speaking of as false.

Jesus didn't take away our sin, only our punishment

The passage was showing that the title is a false teaching that I keep running into on the forums.

Jesus didn't take away our sin, only our punishment

When I was married, my husband and I listened to a 6 cassette teaching of his on the gift of tongues. It was so funny, our mouths kept opening in astonishment at the same time for some of his outrageous beliefs.

Jesus didn't take away our sin, only our punishment

It is not strange that you have seen so few. Notice the word "many." Casting out demons and prophesying means these profess to be Christians. 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to...

Jesus didn't take away our sin, only our punishment

I disagree (of course. LOL) Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. That is the difference between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant. To be saved, we must remain...

Jesus didn't take away our sin, only our punishment

Present tense is merely a teaching style. Look at Romans 7:9. That's present tense. Was Paul over 1300 years old to be around before and after Moses received the law? cc: @SovereignGrace This is for your benefit too seeing as you like Preachers harsh reply to me. You both needs lessons in the...

Jesus didn't take away our sin, only our punishment

Read it in context. Move up a little.

Jesus didn't take away our sin, only our punishment

Do you and SG know that Christians are no longer called sinners but children of God? A slave to sin will never be in heaven if they die in that state.

Wasn't that you in post #5. Make up your mind. Did Jesus take away your sin or not?
