Scriptures that trinitarians Don't Want You to Know About - #5, Book of Acts

I’ve already explained it dozens of times in threads not about the Book of Acts. Just search when I’ve referenced Deuteronomy 18:15-18. PM me with any questions.

    No Redemption for David?

No problem at all, my friend. Not really. Maybe it's God's way of keeping us humble, that we do not earn his grace, not even King David. Certainly, David deserved to build the temple more than anyone but God does not give us what we deserve but better than we deserve, right?

    Biblical Mary

What Scripture says when Mary's egg was when it was fertilized? I am at a loss at your entire line of thought. Keep on parsing synonyms Sue. You can do it!

    Biblical Mary

Wow! God is sovereign. Spirits are not. You are stuck on something here very peculiar. I'm not sure what sin you are associating with sexual reproduction. I guess you are fully vested in your doctrine. 2 Samuel 7:16

    Biblical Mary

If ... anything. What God is capable of is different from what he did or chooses to do. Sadly, this thread has delved unnecessarily into the mechanics of his miracle. Mary was devout and favored by God. She raised our Lord as other parents raise their children, be it biological, step...

    Biblical Mary

Parsing synonyms must be taxing on your mind. Emoting is the verb form of emotion. Conception is the noun form of conceiving. The act is conceiving. The resulting state or condition is conception. I don't know what difference you are trying to make here but it is fun to watch! ;)

Scriptures that trinitarians Don't Want You to Know About - #5, Book of Acts

This detailed linguistic analysis is the same point I've made dozens of times. Speaking, expressing or voicing a word is an attribute of being. It is not a being. Certainly, any action of a being is not a separate being from the being doing the acting. "Of God" or 'of the being' could be added...

    Biblical Mary

If there was no fertilization of Mary’s egg, the prophecy is untrue that David’s kingdom will continue with no end.

    Biblical Mary

The scriptures are no where near that specific. No mysterious secret conception? You are seriously parsing words forms, conceived and conception?! The idea that there is anything wrong with a married woman having sex is absurd and such prudeness turns off unbelievers, who end up mocking such...

Scriptures that trinitarians Don't Want You to Know About - #5, Book of Acts

Jesus is unique but not for the reason you cite. Jesus is not God, which is why he said the Father is greater than he. Jesus is the only mediator, as you said.

Oh, by all means try to reach him. Yea, especially John 20:31 where he says EVERYTHING he's written is to prove to you Jesus is the Messiah. Logic dictates this means NOTHING John wrote ought to be interpreted for other purposes, like 4th century God incarnation.

Scriptures that trinitarians Don't Want You to Know About - #5, Book of Acts

His question is rhetorical. I've literally answered it dozens of times already. All of the Gospels refer to the Only Begotten Son of God. None of the Gospels refer to God incarnate because that is a 4th century invention.

    No Redemption for David?

You misunderstand me. The text makes it clear David was not allowed to build the temple for reasons having nothing to do with David's evil. The prohibition was based on David acting according to the Will of God, when God "was with him" in conquering all the lands that threatened Israel. It...

Scriptures that trinitarians Don't Want You to Know About - #5, Book of Acts

Emily, this origin hypothesis is inaccurate. Sure, you asked me how the idea first came to me that the trinity was wrong. But that first thought was not when I reached a definitive conclusion on the matter. That was nearly 2 decades later when I began to study religion in earnest. And I must...

Scriptures that trinitarians Don't Want You to Know About - #5, Book of Acts

Critical to Spiritual health, forgiveness. I’ve said in other threads that there is no Doctrinal Purity test to gain entrance to heaven. It’s all well and good to discuss and learn from each other about doctrinal matters but we ought to keep in mind that is intellectual. Why God tells us to...

I did not know that. Yeshua, it is. So, you are just inventing an origin for I-Zeus that appeals to your doctrinal sensibilities?

Untrue. Not being equal to God is THE EXACT OPPOSITE of being equal to God. the Father is greater than I. John 14:28

Scriptures that trinitarians Don't Want You to Know About - #5, Book of Acts

In another thread, you took a deep dive with someone who confused what God did with who God did it through. This model is profound. Throughout Scripture we see God doing things through others. That is the divine model. Just because angels and prophets do things at the command of God, or in his...
