    Reason for The Crusades explained

“The one reason that people choose not to follow Jesus is because they do not agree with Jesus’ standards. They look at the commands of God, and they judge their standards to be higher or more important than God’s standards as taught by Jesus and His Apostles.” (Mark Thogmartin, ”The One and...

    Reason for The Crusades explained

@NayborBear are you willing and able to agree with me that those who are “fiercely anti-Scriptural” are not followers of Jesus? That such persons are enemies of Jesus?

    Reason for The Crusades explained

No confirmation. Why? It is where the logic of the argument you put to me leads @NayborBear. That is the result you are aiming for with it. How can you be persuaded that followers of Jesus mustn’t kill Muslims and Jews when you can’t be persuaded that Christians mustn’t kill Christians?

    Reason for The Crusades explained

What Jesus taught and demonstrated is the practical application of scripture. The apostles perpetuated that practical application. So did the church up until the 4th century.

    Reason for The Crusades explained

Follow Jesus and the apostles is always my answer to the world. Jesus didn’t employ violence against his enemies. Violence isn’t his solution to the problem of evil. P.S. I put this question to AI - Is violence the practical solution of Jesus to the problem of evil? AI Overview replied -...

    Reason for The Crusades explained

No. I enjoy responding to my enemies in the same manner which Jesus and the apostles responded to theirs The kingdoms of the world are not the kingdom of God.

    Reason for The Crusades explained

Jesus and the apostles set the example, are the example, of the practical application of scripture for the followers of Jesus. Those who have come to Messiah treat their enemies as he treated, and instructed his followers to treat, enemies.

    Reason for The Crusades explained

    Alpha-gal Syndrome / Bio terrorism?

The Lone Star Tick. That’s the type of tick associated with AGS. That’s the range of the Lone Star Tick. It’s expanding.

    Alpha-gal Syndrome / Bio terrorism?

It looks that way to me, but it remains to be proven. The ticks are hungry and you’re what’s for dinner. That’s not what’s for dinner if you contract AGS. I like where he’s going with that. Someone out there doesn’t.

    Reason for The Crusades explained

My favorite scene from The War of the Worlds - The perfect analogy for the Messiah’s way vs your way? No, but it’s close. Why isn’t it perfect? Romans 13. When it isn’t possible, it isn’t possible because of what my enemy does. What my enemy does or doesn’t do doesn’t change the way I treat...

    Reason for The Crusades explained

See post #2618 and post #2665. I teach, preach and practice what Jesus and the apostles did. *** “As much as in you lies, live peaceably with all men, seek the good of all men.” - Jonathan Edwards
