@Helen What I would say is that it definitely is unmerited favour by definition (Ephesians 2.8-9), but it does not stop there; it leads to Ephesians 2.10: 'we are His workmanship', etc.

@Taken I'm having difficulty following some of the terminology on this thread, but I do think Romans 8 is a wonderfully relevant and searching chapter on the subject.

Seems like after the end of Apollo program there was a sort of break in space exploration but then after the Shuttle there have been various commercial space programs and now the Chinese are putting astronauts into space, among them women.
