@Heart2Soul It might even be said by some ppl that for nurses not to be tattooed is almost becoming unusual, whether or not this is strictly the case; nurses tend to get tattooed with confidence and so Christian nurses considering it can likely proceed to doing it with a lot of confidence also...

Maybe the situation is different where you are but in North America parlors have portfolios of artwork which ppl can just go and look at without obligation, simply to have a look.

@Josho If you don't want them, you don't remotely need them. But the moment you did definitely want to have them put in, there would be nothing stopping you, would there? it really is up to you.

@Renniks I agree; if a Godly young man really wants to pierce his ears, he should do it confidently, in a matter of fact way.

@Josho, In the end, if the song is supposed to point ppl Godward, there's something that detracts if the personality of the singer pulls crowds, rather than humble them in a Godward perspective.

@Helen Yes. It's a really nice step — memorable for him — to help a young man along in taking — a son or grandson, maybe — to give him earrings. Particularly if he's never worn any before but has been thinking about doing it, if he wants to go for it and would appreciate a bit of encouragement...
