A Sane Rant: So what gives with this so-called invisible Virus war?

@Rita You are doing better than us with snow in the air hours ago... I know what you mean about having to order Online....sorry about the shoe problem. For myself, I've never had hair really long; scraggy, yes. My wife used to have it really long down her back. But years ago now, she went for...

    Your favorite Psalm?

So who else has a favorite Psalm?

    Your favorite Psalm?

Psalm 139 is very searching: the concept of searching is a key one.

Not by works - but by faith

Similar idea in Isaiah 48.10: 'I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction'.

Poll: Does the mainstreaming of tattoos open up increasing opportunities for faith ink witness?

Hi @Eternally Grateful FYI....did you see the recent, new poll, above?

Not by works - but by faith

My wife and I are currently reading in James's Epistle.

A Sane Rant: So what gives with this so-called invisible Virus war?

We had snow in the air yesterday; the other day the snow stuck on the ground.

A Sane Rant: So what gives with this so-called invisible Virus war?

@Rita: Must have been a very deep ink experience that still stirs your personality. As regards hair, my wife did The Chop years ago. She is a professional woman, and she basically looks like many professional women with similar chopped hair. I keep my hair short, although with the current...

Why does being a Christian make some lose reason and intelligent thought

@Rita: May the Lord preserve you all.

Poll: Does the mainstreaming of tattoos open up increasing opportunities for faith ink witness?

@Heart2Soul In some ways I wish more Christians worked in tattoo parlors. (Don't you?)

    Lock down still Exists.

@Heart2Soul PS: The comparison I just made might only have limited relevance but you see how, even if one may be very strongly against young people using condoms, for example, yet in an epidemic if one knows they are active, trying to stop them using condoms would not make them safer. (They...

    Lock down still Exists.

@Heart2Soul This is very much appreciated indeed; thanks a lot; we must pray for each other.

    Lock down still Exists.

@Heart2Soul Thank-you. I guess my point also was that it's a serious matter about which ppl need to take precautions. I know some ppl are unhappy about the bureaucratic aspects of precautions and distancing. But there is also wisdom to them. It doesn't follow logically that because some ppl have...

Poll: Does the mainstreaming of tattoos open up increasing opportunities for faith ink witness?

@OzSpen Looks like a great John 3.16 tattoo there. My wife and I talked to a young lady with the whole of John 3.16 tattooed on her wrist area (possibly a better placement for a woman with a John 3.16 tattoo than for a man wanting one on his chest).

Do you have a problem with the pasteurization of milk? (Just wondered...) Last time I checked, he was Louis, not Louise.

@Jay Ross Thanks for your various comments; appreciated.

    Covid-19 Hoax !

I guess it all goes back to the Federalist Papers and the Constitution of 1787/88/89. Up here in Canada the system is Federal also; it's all bound up with the complex series of compromises between English and French Canada going back hundreds of years. As with some of the US states, so with...

Poll: Does the mainstreaming of tattoos open up increasing opportunities for faith ink witness?

@Rita Clearly, as a Christian of many decades' standing now — peacefully and quietly — you are a boldly tattooed woman and no one can take the complete peace you have about it from you. There was also the suggestion earlier than getting tattooed equates with losing one's virginity. This is...

Poll: Does the mainstreaming of tattoos open up increasing opportunities for faith ink witness?

@Rita New to me, also. Perhaps those...items...are more common in Australia (Bondi Beach, etc.) than on the beaches of southern England that we are familiar with. (I was going to add another comment about something you said on the other thread; in a moment...)
