    Bible Study According to Caldwell

Strict baptists tend to be British in outlook and Reformed. Southern baptist tend to be American; many are generally dispensational.

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

I reckon that a lot of 18 year old - or thereabouts - Christian young men and women have weighed up this kind of verse to figure the witness value of a faith based tattoo. (I guess this is getting off the main thrust of the topic of the thread, which is more working in than using parlors, though.)

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

I guess your main problem would be with possible implications for people working in parlors, rather than with being users of parlors, as clients? These days, daughters as well as sons will often tend to want to use parlors, as clients.

@Sabertooth You have a large family, Sir; I'm sure you keep praying for them. :) So did the daughter whom this trumpeter figure generally depicts like the drawing?

Normal, womanly behaviour. My wife has sometimes worn pants in business situations.

I'm sure both the 1 Corinthians and Romans passages are generally relevant!

So I guess the various names of the figures drawn mean that you have sons and one daughter?

I guess Romans 14 Christian liberty would have a lot to do with it.

    And The Peace Of God

I was referring to the many Messianic passages in Psalms, Isaiah, etc. :)

    My New Life

The holy mystery of Bethlehem involved the fact that He was born to die at the Cross.

    And The Peace Of God

I would see the church and Israel as distinct; but certainly Christ in the Old Testament is a glorious subject.

I'm guessing also that where exactly each individual artist would draw the personal line - so to speak - would differ a bit.

    Relationship

It was all before Pentecost when the Holy Spirit did not indwell, unlike afterwards. In Psalm 51, David prays: 'And take not Thy Holy Spirit from me'; not a prayer that believers after Pentecost need to pray. What we do have in the Old Testament is believers who are justified by faith; Romans...

@soul man So did your daughter come up with any design proposals yet? or maybe she'll be going ahead on her own for more ink, this time round?

The Doctrine of Purgatory in Catholic Biblical Perspective

Isaiah 53 also speaks in terms of a successful, completed work. In Hebrews, the Son of God Who purged His people's sins, 'sat down' at the Father's right hand, indicating a finished work; the subsequent Epistle shows clearly that His work is better and accepted.
