Poll: Best age for first tattoo?

Good verse; but do you think tattoos are always bad? some are bad indeed; maybe others are more neutral, and others - faith based ones - can be really useful in witness. So I guess it depends, right?

Poll: Best age for first tattoo?

It's so very widespread indeed. So how will they feel at 50? Well, many will feel differently in various ways; some may regret it; others may by then have gotten more ink; some will have gone off the idea; others will have daughters with ink also (and will have even gone to the parlor with them...

Sometimes older believers get a bit upset with Godly young ppl when they do thing differently; but then if the younger Christians' heart and motivation are right, then it's best to respect this, isn't it?

    The saints of Israel

Thanks for your thoughtful post. I do think that future events seen in the Old Testament are about Israel and the nations, rather than about the church. But I would certainly agree with some of what you say.

Ear piercing: for sons as well as for daughters: is it appropriate? (plus poll)

It's not obligatory, but because of the occasions when so many women will feel having them in is appropriate, ear piercing is 'almost' necessary.

    The Body

Some of the more conservative Presbyterian churches would have been about reverent worship and Scripture exposition. I'm not Presbyterian, though.

    Adoption 3

Philippians is a great Epistle to read if we are studying the theme of the believer's joy in suffering.

    JOHN 11:25 THE RESURRECTION ******

Sometimes this happens; sometimes ppl have a view that they think maybe is Scriptural but this is why discussing it can be valuable; sometimes a view we have neither Scriptural nor unScriptural; which would kind of encourage us to concentrate on the central issues of doctrine and practice. So...

    Are the Ecumenical Councils valid?

Where the Lord Jesus said to His disciples about the Lord's Supper: 'This do in remembrance of Me', He was instituting a remembrance, not the re-sacrifice of an already, gloriously finished work.

Poll and thread: Is smoking always a sin?

Not that I "approve" of it, but it's interesting historically that preachers such as C H Spurgeon smoked; in the days before effective medication for gout - from which he suffered - it is supposed to have given him some relief.

    The perpetual paschal mystery

The finished work of Christ is in the Scriptures, as is the perfect mediatorial work of Christ.

    Tongues and Related Issues

This is what I understand speaking in tongues in Acts to mean: speaking other languages, as signs, while the Scriptures were not yet complete.
