I wholeheartedly agree. In fact, I in some ways don't like watching TV. There's the other side also; I don't agree either with people of a legalistic mindset trying to micromanage other people who are already dressed reasonably and modestly.

My post was a response, so I'm not sure what was in the mind of the poster to which the response was given. In the end it would be about making the behaviour and deportment match the profession, I suppose.

This is indeed what Acts 2 says; those who gladly received the Gospel message continued in various activities that resulted from their faith, including the Lord's Supper.

Good point; balance is important, and the need to concentrate on the inward and spiritual rather than the outward.

Our first focus must be Godward and Scriptural; within that framework, we then witness.
