@quietthinker I guess that the young men and women who know that a Bible verse / faith based tattoo design is likely to occasion many witness conversations are getting inked in the confidence that it may be more fruitful to embrace the medium than to resist it. (If this makes some sense?)

I do see a dispensational distinction between the Old and New (Hebrews 12.24).

@Naomi25 So many young men and women do it as a coming of age thing at around 18. I guess the fact of the poll sort of floats the idea that maybe this isn't the only age to do it and that maybe there is value to doing it - if done at all at a different stage of life. (If this makes sense?)

Hebrews 11.4 says that Abel's offering done in faith was accepted, and his faith was honoured. Cain's - the evident fruit of his labours - wasn't.

I guess they determined to do it confidently with no regrets more or less 'because they were men'? In a sense (belatedly, even? though belatedly might not be the word), you eventually likewise determined fulfillingly to do it confidently with no regrets 'because you are a woman'? :)
