PS: I saw some posts on another site and they indicated just how widespread is the proportion of the nursing profession who are tattooed. The proportion was huge, it was claimed. Maybe you have gotten some kind of impression of this also? (I should try to dig up the quotes, some time.)

Hebrews 11.4 shows it was Abel rather than Cain who showed faith in the need for a sacrifice, rather than Cain who wanted to bring the fruit of his own labours. Ephesians 2.8-9 come to mind.

There is a book by William Gurnall, written in the 17th century, called 'The Christian in Complete Armour', based on Ephesians 6. It was re-issued by Banner of Truth.

Romans 1.5 and Romans 16.26. :)

People talk about 'tattoo regret', as if it must mean regretting an existing tattoo. But for some Christians, a deeper regret might lie in not having or having had a faith based, witness-friendly inking, that holds one to account, right?

The 'Abba, Father' that the believer cries (Romans 8) is very much based on New Testament, post-Pentecost revelation in Scripture.

Father, Son and Holy Spirit are so clear in the New Testament: John's Gospel, John's First Epistle, Romans 8, etc.

The big 18 is regarded as offering a sometimes ideal opportunity for a faith based inking that will hold the wearer to account also for his or her witness, isn't it?
