    Who founded your church?

The Apostles doctrine was not scripture? Was it a suggestion?

    Discerning : The Water Cults

Peter repented of it? He said it will never happen again? Swaggart etc, corrected him?

    Discerning : The Water Cults

They are not unbelievers, but UNREPENTED. Think about it. Nobody but the RCC is forcing folks to be baptized(babies).

    Discerning : The Water Cults

Sure. You said perfect truth, not simple belief is the qualifier for baptism. Fact is, most of you teach phony doctrines and baptize innocent believers before they are exposed to those secret doctrines(tithing etc). You are disqualified too. The truth is, Jesus he that believeth and is...

    Who founded your church?

The day that a newborn can say, "men and brethren, what shall we do" per Acts 2...or they are discipled, then baptized per Matt 28,.... that'll be the day. When that day comes, you may baptize them. That'll be the day.

    Who founded your church?

Newborns are inside the adult if the adult converts as an adult and gets sprinkled by an RCC priest. God separates the baby from the mother in this event? Is this doctrine based on scripture or RCC commentary?

    Who founded your church?

Correct. You are very observant! Except, it did not yet reappear as wolves run it still. It is still clawing it's way out of the RCC's wolf's lair.

    Discerning : The Water Cults

The second part(water baptism) is our burial with Christ. We cannot be in Christ unless we are buried with Christ. Also, we cannot be baptized(buried) legally before God unless we are dead(repented). Folks that get baptized and walk away from God the next day were never dead. They were...

    Who founded your church?

I am speaking of your doctrinal creeds derived from commentary, not our little chit chat. I am pointing folks back to becoming sola scriptura. You RCC'ers are pointing them to read extra Biblical literature. C'mon, man!

    Discerning : The Water Cults

So, only perfect truth is the qualifier to be baptized or simple faith in Jesus?

    Discerning : The Water Cults

You think that unbelievers would be baptized? Jesus didn't. You need to get in sync with Him.

    Discerning : The Water Cults

I see, so the 120 and Peter were not added to the church as per this?.... 41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
  13. Truther

    Who founded your church?

Great observation. This is why we must abandon commentary and get back to sola scriptura. Jesus must become our sole Shepherd and we must hear His voice only. The wolves are defined as false shepherds, which is the RCC and her protestant daughters.

    Who founded your church?

....as they are trying to pull away from the RCC death grip.

    Discerning : The Water Cults

Repent kills. Water baptism in the name of Jesus buries/remits.

    Discerning : The Water Cults

Amen, Peter was not in the habit of contradicting himself per Acts 2:38.
  17. Truther

    Discerning : The Water Cults

That is possible that Peter had not yet found remission of sins until he was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of his sins. As long as he took care of it, he practiced what he preached.
  18. Truther

    Discerning : The Water Cults

No, they received the Holy Ghost to lead them to baptismal salvation per Acts 2:38.
  19. Truther

    Discerning : The Water Cults

Amen. Now, whether Peter was baptized by then in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of his sins or not is irrelevant. He simply practiced what he preached.
