Critical thinking and education is linked to loss of faith

I’m not playing linguistic games. Allow me to rephrase my question then: You prefer to operate under the assumption that Jesus of Nazareth did actually exist. If critical thinking has nothing to do with it, then why is that your preference?

Critical thinking and education is linked to loss of faith

It‘s using FSA (forensic statement analysis). You believe he existed. If critical thinking has nothing to do with it, then how do you know that he did?

    Christadelphians, the Devil and Satan

The devil has his disciples just as the Messiah (the prophesied seed / descendant of the woman) has his.

    Christadelphians, the Devil and Satan

The poor man has a demon @talons.

Critical thinking and education is linked to loss of faith

Jesus himself believes these stories are true.

HEBREWS 6 & 7 IF THEY SHALL FALL AWAY

I agree that the author of Hebrews may not be Paul. I don’t see any reason not to trust it on the issue of contested authorship. I’m glad to hear that you got out of hyperpauline doctrine, and I’m particularly glad that you spoke about it here for newbies to see.

    Christadelphians, the Devil and Satan

Did you find his “no origin story” argument persuasive? What he has to say is a demonic response. He can’t harm me.

    Christadelphians, the Devil and Satan

“A member of the crowd said to him, ‘Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit which makes him mute. Whenever it ceases him, it throws him down, and he foams around the mouth, grinds his teeth, and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to cast it out, but they were not able to...

Critical thinking and education is linked to loss of faith

Simple. They aren’t prepared. They don’t have a forensic faith.

    Christadelphians, the Devil and Satan

“Then Jesus rebuked the demon and it came out of him, and the boy was healed from that moment. Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, ‘Why couldn’t we cast it out?’ He told them, ‘It was because of your little faith, … .’” (Matthew 17:18-20a, NET) The demon is human nature?

    Christadelphians, the Devil and Satan

What would it take to persuade you that Michael and the angels were fighting not the Satan but a Satan; and not his fallen angel gang, but his human nature gang, in heaven? *** There is nothing (short of narcotics - which isn’t the culprit with the Christadelphians - that could persuade me to...

HEBREWS 4 THE PROMISE OF REST

There is not more than one gospel in the Bible. There is only one gospel, newbies. Jesus himself preached it. All of the apostles preached it. It is the gospel of God for all mankind. Remember the parable of the sower; the seed of salvation. Don’t be deflected from it.

    WHAT IS THE MYSTERY?

The revealed mystery is God’s immortality program. I would tell newbies that all of the apostles were aware of it and preached it.

A Gospel Tract a Day, will keep the devil away

A gospel tract will not keep human nature - the Christadelphian (and some other groups) understanding of the devil - away.

HEBREWS 6 & 7 IF THEY SHALL FALL AWAY

I would tell newbies that the writer of Hebrews is applicable to all believers, not only to Jewish believers.
