What he was given is called “the gospel (singular) of God” In scripture. I’m familiar with it but many of our readers may not be. I would welcome a discussion of it in this thread.

Your point about the four Gospels vs. the gospel (singular) is a valid one. However, the gospel includes the death and bodily resurrection of Jesus.
