Are you contradicting Psalm 110.3, Sir? surely not?

We are made willing. "Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power" (Psalm 110.3); our will, as worked upon by grace, is not meritorious.

Ephesians 2 says as much, indeed.

"Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you" (John 15.16). "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." (John 6.37) "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day."...

Ephesians 2.1-9: "And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had...

Another way of stating this is, Is saving faith a work of the Spirit or a work of the flesh?

@GodsGrace : PS: Leaving aside the strict, legal aspect, which allows it at 16 in some jurisdictions, I do still think that if they really want to have it done — as so many do — then it's wise at least to encourage them to wait until 18, to make it a sort of passage into official adulthood...
