OzSpen: This is a long sitting - probably divided up into several sessions. It certainly takes a lot of dedication, doesn't it? It used to be very much a man thing - and still is - but in North America even more women than men endure the inking needle, according to tattoo parlor statistics.

Actually I think you quoted a text post rather than a photo, in any case. The photo shows a woman's wrist; and it anyway seems the case that many women find it doable to be needled at a wrist placement. It all depends in any case how big the person wants the tattoos to be, and how much writing...

Seems odd to me... Rather than sensationalism, it's the spirit of 'Be still, and know that I am God' (Psalm 46.10) that we need.
