@Butterfly FYI, in post #125, above, I posted a photo of a tattoo of Psalm 23, evidently just after the artist finished inking. It looks rather sore (and I guess you know all about how it feels afterwards!) but it kind looks good, don't you think? :)

I think it's so healthy for us to read the Psalms over and over! My wife and I will sometimes spend some days or weeks reading some of the Psalms; then go to another section of the Bible; then go back maybe to where we left off in the Psalms and read further.

Do you have a Christmas tree?

It means more than 'Oh, shucks...!' and then moving on. It involves a turning from sin and a turning to God in faith. A lot of religion is based on an idea of supposed repentance which falls short of forsaking the sin...

PS: Depends if the photo is already on your computer's hard drive, I guess. (I reckon you guys all made sure you took photos of your new tattoos just after the ink had been pumped in and the skin was still red...right?) :)

It's significant how easily tattoos become a focus of conversation; maybe this is why faith based ones are so popular among Christians.
