@Heart2Soul PSL I think you found quitting harder than @"ByGrace" - see above - did to quit? but you managed it! and I hope you are encouraged at success in staying quit.

I guess you would first have had to work a lot harder at getting yourself addicted to the nicotine; then it would have come more naturally like I expect it did to your other young female coworkers.

A bit like the question: "When did you stop beating your wife?" (Who says I even want to beat my wife? :confused:)

I think he may be talking about willing obedience. "Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power" (Psalm 110.3).

They were on the news up here in Canada recently...

Elders and pastors in local churches need a lot of wisdom and courage to deal with matter faithfully, since there is so much pressure to conform with the ways of the world.

The obedience of faith accompanies faith, indeed.

Different events; or different stages of the event; one in the air; the other on earth; one for the church, the other for judgment.

I would see a distinction between the Lord's coming in power and glory on earth and His coming for the church in the air.
