People would often speak of seeking to 'mark, read and inwardly digest' the Scriptures; for some ppl, meditation in Scripture is becoming a lost art, but it's so important to do so, and with prayer.

Okay! I think for you, you said it's the quality of the hits that are just as good. Sounds like you do still strongly feel you need them but vaping has evidently enabled you to cut down on nicotine levels, while delivering it in a far better way.

I know for some ppl anyway 1 each side is such an ingrained habit with which they they are entirely satisfied, that the idea of extras being put in doesn't cross their minds.

@Nancy , PS: So with vaping do you think that you are gradually cutting down on your vaping levels or is it likely more or less static and constant for now? There have been quite a few posts about vaping.

The tribulation principle mentioned by the Lord Jesus in John 16, and the great tribulation in Matthew 24 are distinct matters. For the believer in the church, we may now indeed be comforted by the assurance of the Lord Jesus, Who has overcome the world: 'Let not your heart be troubled'.

I guess for you it was entirely separate, then; and you got tattooed eventually because you really wanted to receive it. For a lot of ppl, 18 is the time that they do first ink; kind of a passage to adulthood thing, really, I suppose (and some at around that age also do have cutting issues).

I think daily prayer and Bible reading - plus fresh air and exercise - can go a long way in combatting depression. The fellowship of other Christians is also very important.

Sounds like you don't even have to remind him! It's certainly worthwhile for guys to have them pierced in, if they would thereafter be likely to wear them regularly, isn't it?

Romans 8 - reading the whole chapter - expresses it well.

I've been a bit of a hoarder of books myself; I got rid of hundreds of them some years ago, but they still seem to mount up... It's good to have reliable Bible study books on the shelf for regular reference.
