Great verse there in James! although the chapter in Leviticus also seems to say about not trimming one's beard; so I wonder how many New Testament Christians would say we ought to be like bushy bearded Old Testament Jews in the land?

Well, I guess if you were stuck for ideas you could always buy your husband a diamond ear stud for Christmas and an ear piercing voucher; and then if he has it put in, see how long he would wear it. Of course, if so, he might 'retaliate' by giving you as a Christmas gift a tattoo voucher...
