A lot of local churches which would find the dispensational emphasis of Darby generally helpful are far from 'charistmatic'/Pentecostal in nature.

I do actually appreciate Darby's writings! :) I do find it useful to be clear whether a passage is talking about Israel (an earthly people, albeit at some stages with those who were justified by faith among them) or the church (a heavenly people, as Ephesians shows).

While there are many wonderful applications in Scripture, I don't see the church directly in the Old Testament at all. (Interpretation as opposed to application.)

'By faith', 'by faith', 'by faith' in Hebrews 11 is such an important and pivotal phrase! :)

The issue is, What is Christianity, according to the Bible? For a group to pay lip service to some of what the Lord Jesus says and then deny just about the central doctrine of Biblical Christianity is not a way to resolve anything.

JWs who follow JW teaching don't believe that the Lord Jesus is God's beloved Son; which is a fundamental Biblical doctrine at the heart of Christianity.

A diary can indeed be a good way to discipline one's thoughts as one meditates in the Scriptures day by day...

Ephesians is a great Epistle for the heavenly identity of the church. :)
