My answer to that as a primitive Christian believer is Jewish monotheism’s answer: “No” and “Yes”. ”No” - not literally. ”Yes” - functionally; representationally, as his shaliach.

If he didn’t, then why would anyone who believes what he wrote is the truth? Why not rather believe as and what he believed about Christ?
