I could honestly use some help loving my neighbors. My in laws are supposed to be coming over today. This morning I woke up dreading it. I won't make excuses. I am fixing my attitude before God even as I get ready. I can't grandstand about loving people if I can't be hospitable to my own family.

I get frustrated at times. I need God's help to love people where they are at and not let where I want them to be get in the way.

Are you saying that Christians are too focused on a future arrival of Christ but not Christ in us now?

My own mother took us to church. She taught us about God often in conversations. I saw her reliance on Him in her struggles.

Doctrinal Superiority...."I don't need the fruit of the spirit, Im just here to correct your beliefs."

Realization: There's always a "reason" people can come up with for not using gentleness or patience or love or any of the other fruit of the spirit. When people want to operate in the flesh, they will find a way to spiritualize it.

Spent time with just daughter since son was at his grandparents house. I pushed her on the play swing in the yard and we played with chalk. While I tidied the kitchen this morning, I put on Scripture songs. My brother called. Now Im just vegging out for a while.
