Do I really act like heaven is a reality and I live out of that place? How often am I caught up in the cares of this world and fail to seek the Kingdom first? Lord, help me to see clearly.

I want to do more to lay up treasures in heaven and not on earth. I don't want to miss opportunities to do good because I love pretty clothes too much.

I liked a lot of fantasy books like the Narnia series by C.S Lewis, The Golden Compass Trilogy by Philip Pullman, The Bartimaeus Trilogy by Jonathan Stroud (I may be getting that last name wrong) and Tamora Pierce's Magic Circle series.

Take a lot of interactions on this forum for example. A lot of people seek to influence each other without building any sort of trust or even civility, so it turns into angry rants often.

I always thought the coals of fire were shame and conviction maybe. But I never assumed it was bad. Thanks for this post.
