What were the disciples asking when they inquired about “what will be the sign of your coming”?

Depends on what he believed at the time. I don't even know who Polycarp is.

What were the disciples asking when they inquired about “what will be the sign of your coming”?

Right, well perhaps Polycarp hung out with John before he was taken. I don't know. It doesn't really hold a lot of water for me to like consider it as something to bank my life on.

    What do you think?

    What? I'm a believer man.

What were the disciples asking when they inquired about “what will be the sign of your coming”?

Ages come and go. The Mosaic Age concerning the Law was still on going in the day Yeshua had shown up. I call it the Mosaic Age, cause they still ran on Laws. They would stone people to death, but also mock God, by invariantly disregarding Yahavah all together. Ages come and go, and while...

Where do people get the spiritual authority?

My friend who hasn't really studied the Bible or anything very much just tells me "Matthew, people use it as a authority cause it's the Bible dude." Yahavah is the authority truly, not some man behind the pulpit. It's impossible to make some of the contents and context for us today, but we can...

Where do people get the spiritual authority?

Just looking for conversation on this piece. Anyone whom is willingly to comment may do so. How can we have authority over things which were not written to us directly?

    What do you think?

    Ok.

What were the disciples asking when they inquired about “what will be the sign of your coming”?

It's an argument that I have heard before but have forgotten. So I can't really say much about it. Let me ask you a question though, do we need PolyCarps writings, and Ireneaus writtings to complete the message. Cause if a person is going to go off of them, we would most certainly need them...

Where do people get the spiritual authority?

I edited this post because there is a drastic difference between Written "to" those people then at that time. and Written "for" us to learn from.

What were the disciples asking when they inquired about “what will be the sign of your coming”?

Thank you for your comment. To me it's not about taking sides. One says this or One says that. In the end I don't care what people believe, and that sounds like I am being a butt. It's a individual choice to believe what one will when it comes to the Bible itself, in my opinion. Cause while...

Where do people get the spiritual authority?

Okay, if you have nothing more to add that is fine. To anyone else, if you can make the scripture say that this is written* to *you today, I would love to know. All I do know is I was reading Romans 15 today, and I like what that chapter is about in which brings the gentiles together, in the...

All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him not even one thing came into being...

All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being. In him was life, and the life was the Light of mankind. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not grasp it.

    What do you think?

Yes that is right~! Everyone is responsible for themselves. I do not know why people try to make it a group collective effort to continue after the fact a person may not go the way you think they should go, I believe Yahavah can handle those people.

    What do you think?

Debp, What do you think should be done? Leave them to their own? Jesus stated "Kick off the dust of your feet if someone doesn't listen to your message." To his disciples in that day. Does that still apply? Idk it's up to the individual to decide. I don't think that means we stop hoping for...

Where do people get the spiritual authority?

No. I didn’t ask for anything. I don’t want to argue with you just cause you assume something you believe. That’s fine. But I don’t think it’s good to assume I must believe you either. No one should ever believe me, and they should read the Bible for themselves, study, and see what it is all...

Where do people get the spiritual authority?

I don't believe anyone has any authority to assert the letters written and the Gospels written to themselves directly. I do believe that God/Yahavah is the ultimate authority, he will write on the hearts and minds of those who look to him. The Bible itself is a wonderful gift God has left for...

Where do people get the spiritual authority?

I believe He has completed and finished everything. Maybe some people will come and buy your books and see what you have to offer them, I am not sure what you want. I mean I love you as a person. People will seek him out, or not, or check out your books or something. What do you want? To...

Should sin triumph over grace in the end?

There is only one sin that remains. The sin of unbelief. It's called faithlessness. Yahavah lives in (because every soul is God-given) all people, whether or not people spiritually awake, it is a choice which they have to make...

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

There is only one commandment to live by. Love one another, and believe on the one whom was sent and completely obedient to his Father which we ourselves could never do.

Where do people get the spiritual authority?

I love Yeshua. I love that he lives in my heart. I ain’t got nothing special revelation or nothing. I’m just my own person, choosing what I make out of my life; without you really being here in it. You’re just a man, like me, on the internet, and have no authority over me.
