There was nothing nullifying the fulfillment in Joshua 21:43.

I don't recall "nation in exile" being in the Bible.

The faithful and obedient are God's only covenant people, brother. The corpses of thousands of rebellious OT Israelites attest to that.

Once physically dispossessed of its land, it no longer physically qualifies as a nation.

So they have ceased to be a nation multiple times.

Spiritual Israel includes physical descendants (ethnic Jews), and physical non-descendants (ethnic Gentiles), of Jacob, who are in Christ. I thought that was obvious. So what is replaced?

Who was the diaspora?

The diaspora which Peter was addressing was comprised of Christian Israelites. Christian Israelites were comprised of both Christian Jews and Christian Gentiles. Peter describes them in 1 Peter 2:5,9 et al.

I'm included in 1 Peter 2:5, and 1 Peter 2:5 is included in 1 Peter 2:9. Every person in Christ is included in 1 Peter 2:5,9 irrespective of their ethnicity. It seems that you don't understand that.
