Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

Reminds me of Lucifer before he fell. Clearly from his example, having an experience in the past does not reflect on where a person is now.

Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

Amen. And I do fear this strong delusion will involve and be centred in the Temple in Jerusalem. I saw where the Temple Institute openly stated their intention to use the Temple to "unite all the religions of the world", many years ago, sadly. It is a way that "seemth right to man" but leads...

Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

What do you imagine it is talking about? Receiving a righteous man/prophet means receiving and not rejecting his message, right? AKA the gospel. It means receiving the One who sent him. And the reward of course, is eternal life. This is not talking about just welcoming a righteous man over...

Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

Any true revival will have idolaters coming to CHRIST and renouncing and walking away from their false religions and practices....not remaining in them.

Young rich ruler not saved, why ?

I don't understand the first part of your post.....that the parable of the talents/minas is about money etc. I understand the parable to be about the measure of faith and grace that each one has received, which differs individually. But I believe the ultimate fate of the rich young ruler has...

Are you guys happy with the recent Iran agreement ending the war?

Golly.....I hope maybe he is just talking like that to keep his supporters stirred up...? But I don't think civil war is off the table, at least. He is a divisive figure in my opinion.....not a peacemaker.....not aware that he ever does or says anything to try and unify the nation, quite the...

    Who are the Saved?

......and I wonder what else you believe that you would rather not say.

Young rich ruler not saved, why ?

Think I'll just point out that you are not asking the right question (as often happens in my observation). It is not a question of "performing", which comes from ourselves.......it's a question of bearing fruit which is not of ourselves. And yes bearing fruit is a condition. Read the parable...

Young rich ruler not saved, why ?

Except I know when to stop asking. And I did stop didn't I. Not to mention that my reason for not answering the question here is not the same at all as yours. (We're talking about a conversation on another thread for anyone reading this and wondering.)

    Who are the Saved?

 In other words you would rather not say........for some reason. Got it.

Young rich ruler not saved, why ?

You go right ahead and give your point of view about the rich young ruler and kindly stop harassing me. Thanks.

Young rich ruler not saved, why ?

Why will you not honour my wish not to debate OSAS on this thread? It's too far off topic and those debates go on forever. Just read those scriptures I've already brought for what they say and leave it at that. Thank you.

    Who are the Saved?

And your eschatological views? What are they.....?

    Who are the Saved?

Do you believe that unbelieving Jews under the Law need to receive Christ to be saved? Or do you believe they are saved by the old covenant like John Hagee? What do you believe about that?
  15. L

    Who are the Saved?

It might well be that @Epsikopos wants to believe Jews are saved by law-keeping through their own righteousness...perhaps he can confirm or deny that.

    Who are the Saved?

Who is born of God? Our new man or old man? It is our new man that is born of God and cannot sin. (While the old man can't help BUT sin in some way or other.) John is not saying that it is impossible for a born again believer to commit a sin (IF we sin we have an Advocate)....it's a matter...

    Who are the Saved?

Hyper-grace is one ditch, but we need to also beware of the ditch on the other side of the right road. Neither one is IN SPIRIT.

    Who are the Saved?

Amen, it is a hope born of FAITH. It is a "hope" only because it hasn't manifested yet. Like Abraham hoped because he had faith in what God said He would bring about, but hadn't yet.

    Who are the Saved?

Amen, sinners/unbelievers in other words. Which could include those who did once know the Lord but fell away into sin.
