Remember, you are a winner, out of the millions you were given life. Honor your Creator and you will be fine. Don't blew the free gift of life. Be well.

Thanks for your honesty. That settles the matter. God loves you anyway.

I looked up in my Bible software the combination of grace + power and it returned zero matches. I think grace is the initiative of the Father to send the Son to earth to take away the sins of the world by the ultimate sign of His love for His fallen creation, sacrificing a part of Himself by...

It's not only that. In the hypothetical case the good Lord would give you a sign you can not ignore - Would you believe and obey Him ? Isn't that the crux of the matter ?

True, but the poster you reply to does not give me that impression. Yep.

Let's wait what Scott has to say.

Actually I meant 1 Cor 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.

I recently heard this story about U2 and Paul McCartney during the Live8 concert in Hyde Park in London, July 2005. From U2 it is known they often pray for a concert. And so they were in prayer before they had to perform on stage. And while praying someone was knocking on the door, but they did...

On Eph 2:8-9, how about the NEXT verse 10 ?

Correct, we don't (want to) sin any longer. Who has made that change (desire) into us? It is the wonderful gift of Pentecost, the promise of the indwelling Holy Spirit for every born again. He (the Holy Spirit) will convince us of sin, as Jesus said --> John 16:8 And when he comes, he will...

Oh wow dear sister, Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, That also counted for - Noah was one of them. Also Zaccheus and Elizabeth, John the Baptists parents. Agreed, I liked your post anyway :Broadly:

@ScottA, can you quote that Scripture passage that speaks about those 2 bodies ? I know it is there, but can't find it.

Since the discussion evolved into a classic OSAS vs NOSAS discussion allow me a related question. I always wrestled with the below passage, in context the exact meaning of verse 12 - Joh 1:9 The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. Joh 1:10 He was in the world...

Matt 12:22 Then a demon-oppressed man who was blind and mute was brought to him, and he healed him, so that the man spoke and saw. Matt 12:23 And all the people were amazed, and said, “Can this be the Son of David?” Matt 12:24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, “It is only by Beelzebul...

Where is Outer darkness? Maybe Rev 22:15 describes it ? Rev 22:14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. Rev 22:15 Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and...

Point being of Luke 14:26 is to put God at the first place if a difficult situation requires so.

Earth contains millions of species. New species are detected frequently. Nobody argues against micro evolution, an insect may evolve, it remains an insect. It doesn't miraculously changes into a frog and kissing a frog does not create a prince. I ignored noting, you just changed the subject...

Gen 1:1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Gen 1:2 The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Check snowball earth, once earth was fully covered with ice (water). Gen 1:3...

Only this... Read Genesis chapter one and compare the order of creation (from a world fully covered with water all the way to humans) what science teaches is the very same order. How could someone living ~3500 years ago knowing what science believes just ~100-150 year ago ?
