I have my doubts that Catholicism is Christianity

Having a good heart is not a free pass or get out of jail card. God does not waver or change his rules. If anyone thinks God will overlook things because someone has a "good heart", they are sadly mistaken. That's what the devil would like you to believe. "Few there be that find it". FEW!

I have my doubts that Catholicism is Christianity

If you sprinkle or pour water on unbelieving individuals, they're not saved, and if not saved, not Christians. And when you multiply that error across multitudes, you have a very large group of non-Christians who unfortunately, claim otherwise.

Infant Baptism is not given in scripture.

Yes, don't listen to the cousin of the uncle of the brother of the friend of one of the apostles. Listen only to the original as recorded in scripture.

Infant Baptism is not given in scripture.

It's no theory, that's what the scriptures say, which we can't enhance or augment as you're suggesting. You do know there were other apostles right, besides Matthias who replaced Judas, and Paul? Barnabas and Apollos. The Bible does say Barnabas and Saul (Paul) were, set apart, called out by God...

Infant Baptism is not given in scripture.

And in your response (don't know if that's your belief or not), therein lies the problem which is unscriptural as well as makes no sense. If infants don't know right from wrong, how could they have transgressed and be guilty of sin?? So, why would they need their sins washed away by baptism...

Infant Baptism is not given in scripture.

You assume to much, like "we are all Christians". That most likely is NOT true. Most don't understand that it is a process to become a Christian, and that it's not simply a state or assent of mind, or decision whereby you say to yourself, ' I think I now believe in God and Christ, and I'm gonna...

Infant Baptism is not given in scripture.

I was baptized into Christ as the scriptures teach which is the only way.

Infant Baptism is not given in scripture.

Follow the actual scriptures, where they lead you and not secondary or tertiary documents or the men that "spoke to the Apostles". I choose to follow the scriptures.

Infant Baptism is not given in scripture.

Interesting too. You never said how you came to be "in Christ", yet you claim to be a sister in Christ (I have my doubts that you understand how that happens). If that's true, you should know how you got to be "in Christ".

Infant Baptism is not given in scripture.

To clarify for you what the scriptures truly say, the account of Lydia being converted in Acts 16 doesn't say "families" nor do any other scriptures in all bibles I've checked; it either says "house" or "household". And the account of the jailer likewise says "he and his" and further goes on to...

    Why faith alone? The answer...

More circles and more blah blah blah. I have a question for you which I asked before after-the-fact but received no answer as yet. Curious about your handle, Sister-n-Christ. How is it that you are in that relationship with Christ? What exactly did you do to be "in Christ"? Was it just mental...

You talk in circles and say nothing in the process

    Why faith alone? The answer...

You can agree with whomever all you want, but the words of scripture ain't gonna change. There is no free pass going forward. There are remedies for subsequent sins, but no free pass. Read the Hebrew letter which is also very clear with a very clear warning to them about backsliding and...

    Why faith alone? The answer...

What is salvation? What are we saved from? We can be lost after initial salvation. What are we actually initially saved from? Romans 3:25 says it very clearly. 25Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that...

    Why faith alone? The answer...

I'm confused by your previous comment to me. What exactly did you mean then about having the chicken and egg reversed or "mixed up"?

    Why faith alone? The answer...

I don't know what you mean. Those that believed confessed their belief as the Ethiopian eunuch did in Acts 8, repented, as the Jews did on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2, and were then baptized into Christ for the forgiveness of sins. Pretty straightforward.

    Why faith alone? The answer...

Just curious also. You're calling yourself "Sister-n-Christ": how is it that you're a sister in Christ? How do I or anyone else know that you are a sister in Christ? Is it because you say so? Because of mental assent as such? How did you get to be "in Christ"? How did that happen? By what means...

    Why, scripturally?

Keep on trying your darndest trying to be relevant, twisting words, language, sequence, etc. It ain't gonna work nor will it change the truth.
