After your born again do you think you will never sin again?

Paul said that when writing about when being under the law UNSAVED. Romans 7 is the history of the law. Verse 9 is about mankind before Moses and after Moses. ONLY Verses 5-6 is about NOW that Jesus cleanses us of SIN. And verses 14-25 is more details about life when we were UNDER the LAW...

After your born again do you think you will never sin again?

I agree, and that is what scares me. I am not used to lying. If I had not answered at all, that is a damning answer in itself, so that was NOT an option. To keep my privacy in tact, I was forced to lie. So who's fault is that? His or mine?

After your born again do you think you will never sin again?

You seem pleased. Hmmmmm... This is important in order to discuss these. Let me show you two scriptures by John showing the results of the two different types of sin. Tell me if you agree with these as written. Or do you want to add words to them to make them more palatable to you? 1 John 3:9...

After your born again do you think you will never sin again?

What version of the Bible are you quoting? I don't recognize it.

After your born again do you think you will never sin again?

AoG, Yes, but of the worst of the two types of sin, not both. If you have been taught and believe without checking for yourself that "sin is sin," you've opened yourself up to a defeatist mindset that is open to more doctrines of demons. For 3,500 years there have always been two types in...

Don't start at verse 11, but 8 for the correct timing.

After your born again do you think you will never sin again?

It is important to get there as Jesus said, "you must be born again of the Spirit." But, it is also important that we do not do what that man did to me, “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and...

After your born again do you think you will never sin again?

I'd like to for you to also think about the person prying into my business. Matthew 18:6 “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea."

Folks, see what happens when I confessed a sin? I get called names, when this OP is in itself a prayer to God for forgiveness, and an assumption I haven't already many times. I've been forgiven, yet this is a good subject for all of us to talk about, seeing both sides - that of the victim, and...

I realized it was an old post. But when I read it I saw it as a license to sin. That's the first time I ever received that contradiction knowledge. Though I realize you don't want to engage, I hope you at least think about that. You are not the only one that has been taught that verse which...

Did you know you are now using 1 John 1:8 as a license to sin? It is no longer "reckoning" yourself free from sin. Which verse are you going to live up, or down, to. Your verse is about mankind before confessing to Christ. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Only He can take...

I always wondered about Revelation 11. If that is not a future temple, then who were the 2 witnesses before 70 AD? Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, “Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there. 2 But leave out the court...

I didn't mean to disrespect you. I have asked forgiveness, but I also know what is written in Hebrews 10:26-31. On the other hand, he did put me in a bad position of me having to lie to keep it my business and not his. Thank you. You know, just this minute, I actually feel forgiven when what I...

I respectfully disagree too, but with you. LOL That is another verse over-used, and mistakenly interpreted. It became that way 500 years ago by the Reformationists, Luther and Calvin. I prefer all the verses pertaining to the true meaning of why Jesus came and died for us. It was to free us...

Many people use 1 John 1:9 as a "get out of hell free card," when in reality it is the same one-time repentance as we do to become a born again Christian, just like Acts 2:38 "Repent...and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit". Once cleansed of all unrighteousness, we literally can't...

Praying wouldn't help, if I would do the same thing tomorrow. I don't have to worry about a repeat seeing as he died a few years ago, but it still bothers me, so I'm confessing to all of you that I lied, not what about... Maybe now God can heal my back. No willful sin is important, but I'm mad...
