After your born again do you think you will never sin again?
Do you think you become a perfect person that will never make a mistake?

Now let us see the approach of the apostels towards sin .
Let it not once be named among you as becometh saints .
Those who sin rebuke before all that others may fear .
Let us not tone down reminders about sin but rather speak against doing such as a christain .

Being saved doesn't prevent anyone from sinning. We still have the free will to choose to sin or not, and we still live in a corrupted body that has its own fleshly desires. But a true conversion should reduce the desire and frequency to sin. And if one does sin, it should produce a sense of regret and the desire for repentance.

I was also led to believe this was so. And after about 30 years of fighting the truth about myself, I had to confront the logical corollary: If I still sin, I must not be born again and probably never could be. Paul talks about those vessels predestined for destruction (or worse). Then the "gospel" must be a lie and the non-elect not only do not believe it, they should not believe it.

Like the Deborah King quote I posted in the other thread, sometimes the lies we tell ourselves are the most damaging.

I am intrigued by the testimony of those who claim to have "walked in the Spirit" (Galatians 5:16-18 and others reference), if only for a limited and finite amount of time. This sounds like an altered state of consciousness in which it is not possible to sin. I cannot claim to have experienced this, though. Nor do I know how to get there from here.

I'm interested to hear from people who do believe that they are sinless.

@1stCenturyLady can you please share your opinion on this matter?

I'd like to for you to also think about the person prying into my business. Matthew 18:6 “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea."

It is important to get there as Jesus said, "you must be born again of the Spirit." But, it is also important that we do not do what that man did to me, “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea."

you mean like THIS LIE .
That GOD is in all religoins and that muslims , buddists , unbeleiving jews , and all other religoins
serve the same GOD the christain does . YOU MEAN LIKE THAT LIE that many now are beginning
to beleive . Like this big ol inclusive sin accepting unbeleif in JESUS accepting path to GOD . LIKE THAT LIE .
and that all these religoins must now merge as one for world peace . YOU MEAN that LIE .
that is only that which is of anti christ to simply merge and prepare all the decieved to be as one
under what they all will believe is GOD , and is his will for world peace . LIKE THAT LIE .
like that ecumeincal interfaith all inclusive LIE . oh yeah . many people sure will be damned by the very lie
they tell themselves all right .

I have to gently point out that Jesus will hold him accountable for his actions, and you for yours.
