Salvation has a significance that never ceases to be relevant. You can choose to be irrelevant, but that is no reflection of anyone but the Devil.

I love this thought so much! God loves us (together!).

Hi there, So we frequently hear about the return of Jesus, that He comes to rule the Earth (and its nations). There is scripture for this, which is fine (I couldn't tell you which scripture specifically). But there is another return, which doesn't get much attention because it is obscure. The...

Who said 'revere the stars'? I said "they are arranged by the Holy Spirit". But to your second point 'feel' is too general a word, we are supposed to be "comforted" by them.

The stars are arranged by the Holy Spirit, to reflect the words of scripture. How are you going to textually criticise the stars?

"what you bind in Heaven will be bound on Earth; what you loose in Heaven will be loosed on Earth" that's the authority.

The words of Jesus - recorded in John - are reflected in the stars (the stars are literally arranged by the Holy Spirit). How do you falsify stars? My concern is that you then say "let's remove Revelation", for which the curse is severe.

Something to note, belief in Jesus is always going to be easy - maybe Evolutionists will respect that?

It's got to the point, where I tell myself "Jesus promised we couldn't be poisoned"!

The alternative, if you are not adapting, is to suggest that you have enough adaptations as is? In other words, not adapting X means that I believe I am more likely to survive keeping adaptation Y and Z. Its a glass half empty or a glass half full - question?

Stellar observation, brother! You have got me thinking!

Hi there! So there was a thread about praising God for the natural world, and it got bogged down in debate, and it got shut down. So I went and checked if I could open another one, and I was told it was up to me. So here it is! A thread about the natural world and praising God for it! The big...

It would be a miracle if people stopped sinning, let's start there!

The question is "what would the return of the Messiah mean, in terms of work for the kingdom, if it was in 2030?" If the Lord has revealed to you, where your cross is taking you, you don't give much thought to these kind of things - you want to be watching for the Lord, regardless!

Something constructive about adaptation: I believe there are things in the body that help adaptation along (and that it is these things - not mutations - that do much of the work of adaptation), and I believe there are things in the body, that help adaptation get back to where it was, when it...

I think what is interesting, is that when Jesus refers to the ten commandments, to the rich young ruler, He changes the order of the commandments: Jesus says Mark 10:19"You know the commandments: ‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false...

Ouch! Two scriptures per request and you say I lack Wisdom? If I have the Rapture within me, how do I doubt it? If I understand that I do not know how the Rapture works within me, how can not knowing it confuse me? Praise God, these disputes will all be resolved in Heaven!

Hi there, So when I was a rebellious teenager, I turned to evil music. Even though I had faith, I found myself drifting away - because of the struggles my family was going through (finance, divorce, etc.). The evil music stopped me from caring what was happening to my life. Then, instead of...

Mark 4:26 "The kingdom of God is as if a Man should plant a seed in the ground" And again Luke 17:20-21 "The Kingdom of God does not come by observation, for indeed the kingdom is within you" (from memory) In other words "the Rapture is within you" "the Rapture happens in a way that you do not...

The Holy Spirit used this suggestion, to remind me that there is more to me than I give myself credit for. Thanks, brother!
