Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

I certainly agree with the Church going through tribulation which could be viewed as great tribulation. What is your view on Matthew 24:40-41? Who is taken<3880> and who is left? Matthew 24:40Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41Two women shall...

The “rapture” = Matthew 24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

Revelation chapter 20 - Gog and Magog

If I remember correctly you think nobody will be deceived in any way, shape, or form during a future millennium and you appear to have Gog and Magog being something literal that people are going to be aware of. If your view is correct then perhaps a conversation in the millennium might go like...

    Schemes...

Here’s the thing, in my opinion, there is no eschatological view that doesn’t have problems. When we find something like three or four verses that seem to point in one direction while another verse points a different way, we tend to come up with rational reasons as to why that might be (I’m...

Where the unbelievers go when they physically die? (An Amillennial Prespective)

Ok, let’s go back to the spirit of Samuel. Samuel was a saved person, right? And since it was possible for the spirit of a dead believer to appear to other humans, like at the mount of transfiguration, then really the only argument you have for the 1 Samuel 28 spirit not actually being Samuel is...

Where the unbelievers go when they physically die? (An Amillennial Prespective)

In Matthew 17:3 it says And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Should we also conclude that it couldn’t actually have been Moses and Elias but it was some other kind of spirits masquerading as Moses and Elias?

Where the unbelievers go when they physically die? (An Amillennial Prespective)

In 1 Samuel 28:19 the spirit of Samuel tells Saul tomorrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me. If your view is correct then we must conclude that Saul was saved, Saul could not be one of the “rest of the dead” because he would be with Samuel after he died. In 1 Samuel 10:9-10 God gave him...

Irrefutable biblical proof that death is abolished at the second coming

Let me clarify what I meant, interpreting “one day with the Lord is as a thousand years” as one day is always as a thousand years would be a literal interpretation. Interpreting “one day with the Lord is as a thousand years” as one day may or may not be a thousand years, it just depends on the...

Irrefutable biblical proof that death is abolished at the second coming

In Genesis 1:1-5 when God divided light from darkness, the evening and the morning were the first day. It’s not until day three that earth is created so the first day was from God’s perspective, although that really can be very much debated as to how many hours or years the initial days of...

Irrefutable biblical proof that death is abolished at the second coming

I’m not saying it’s impossible to have one day in heaven equal one thousand years on earth. I’m saying if we go that route then an explanation of when NHNE gets created needs to be taken into consideration. Personally I don’t see any the scriptures giving any evidence of a large period of time...

Irrefutable biblical proof that death is abolished at the second coming

I think @Keraz puts a literal one day in heaven being equal to a literal thousand years on earth. A major problem with this is he then has to figure out where to place the creation of NHNE. If our current creation took seven thousand years then NHNE, using the same reasoning, would take seven...

Irrefutable biblical proof that death is abolished at the second coming

When Paul wrote it wasn’t “must shortly come to pass” but in the years after Paul wrote, when John wrote, it was “must shortly come to pass”.

Irrefutable biblical proof that death is abolished at the second coming

I do see the contradiction of claiming Revelation 2:26 happens during the millennium while at the same time claiming Revelation 2:7 happens after the millennium in NHNE. An interesting thing about Revelation 22:2 is that the leaves of the tree are for healing. If the tree of life is in NHNE...

Irrefutable biblical proof that death is abolished at the second coming

I’m not sure where you’re going with that but if John was the only one to have been given certain information then it’s no use comparing scripture with scripture to interpret Revelation. Do you somehow think we don’t need to look at the rest of the Bible to interpret Revelation?

Irrefutable biblical proof that death is abolished at the second coming

Well, let’s say it’s another 4,000 years after the millennium before NHNE are finished. Where are the immortal believers during that time period? Are they just floating around or something, with nothing to do? It just seems strange to me that there could be a time period after the millennium...

Irrefutable biblical proof that death is abolished at the second coming

Here’s the thing I don’t get about the idea of one day in heaven being equal to one thousand years on earth … If we assume the first seven days of creation are really seven thousand earth years, then when it comes to new heaven and new earth being created there is no seven thousand year time...

Revelation chapter 20 - Gog and Magog

If you’re saying those under the altar at the fifth seal are the 144,000 and they are actually sealed when they are given the white robes, then yea, I can agree with that. I think the fifth seal takes place after the cross, prior to Pentecost.

Revelation chapter 20 - Gog and Magog

Ok, thanks for your opinion on symmetry. The other thing I would like to get your thoughts on is the Revelation 12 repeating pattern. Vs 4 Stars of heaven cast to earth Vs 4 devour her child Vs 6 woman fled into wilderness Vs 7 war in heaven between dragon and Michael Vs 9 Dragon cast out...

Revelation chapter 20 - Gog and Magog

I can think of a couple of things that I would like to get your opinion on, to start with there’s the idea of symmetry between Jesus and Satan. Years ago someone, who was Amil, claimed there is a symmetry between Jesus and Satan, in regard to where they are and in the type of access they have...

Revelation chapter 20 - Gog and Magog

Ok, thanks for the explanation. I personally don’t think a literal fulfillment of one denarius for a quart of wheat or three denarius for a quarter of barley matters because I don’t interpret that verse in a literal manner. Historically though it appears the literal fulfillment took place at...
